Nick’s real love affair with floristry seriously began after taking on her daughter, Amy’s wedding as her first major project, which was featured in Rock N Roll Bride magazine. Feeling somewhat bereft afterwards she decided to pursue a career working with flowers, styling further weddings and events, alongside an in depth education in professional floristry.

With a strong background in care, community and sociology, Nick has always focused on the individual and ways in which she can help people interact with others. Flowers and nature have proven to be an ideal way to make this connection.

Hand Head Heart is a name taken from a quote by John Ruskin, in which he describes fine art as being when the hand, head and heart are connected. This concept really defines the way Nick works, weaving memories and helping clients to tell their stories.

When Nick isn’t knee deep in buckets of blooms, she’s probably listening to Nick Cave, watching old films, painting and getting lots of love from her Grand-dog , Elvis.
